Once again, it amazes me how quickly time flies past. The last website update
was 24 Oct 04 and over sixth months have gone by. If you're trying to find the
previous home-page notices, please click the 'Archive' button to the right. I
had to move them to make room for new information.
The forum postings have surged from 500 in October to 1,232 as I'm writing
this and three different campaigns are now underway (as careers, marriages,
families and deployments permit). We are also approaching another
important milestone soon...boneyardgames' first anniversary will be in less
than 2 months on 2 Jul. In celebration of this event, there will be a drawing for
several small prizes and we will be hosting a fantasy writing contest as well.
To enter the contest, you should submit a single new feat, skill, prestige
class, monster, or short story by COB on 2 Jul 05. Each entry will be reviewed
by the registered members of the forum and votes will be taken to determine a
winner. All submissions will of course remain the sole property of the author
and the first-place finisher will win a Grand Prize (to be announced soon) as
well as bragging rights over the other participating fools. Judging criteria will
be provided on the forum prior to 2 Jul. I'll be exempting myself from the
competition but may still provide an exhibition piece for your spears.
I thought this might be a fun way to mark the first year of what has been, for
me, a very enjoyable project and hobby. Once again, thanks for your interest
and participation and we'll look for you on the forum!
